How to Join Us.
If your child has an interest in horses and would like to join and learn more, we are the place for you!
Pony Club is held every second Saturday, with two sessions running each time. We have a morning session from 10am - 12 noon, and an afternoon session running from 1.30pm until 3.30pm.
A years Pony Club membership costs £23.00. Non-members are charged £20.00 per session. Members pay £13 per session.
We advise that you become a member. This allows the children to obtain there achievement badges and certificates. Non members may sit the tests but will not officially pass and be presented with there badges and certificates. Membership forms are available from the stables, so please just ask a member of staff!
Every session we require you to sign in for the next session as this allows us to plan for each session and gives us an idea of how many children we will have and what horses we will have available. If you have not signed in for the session and you arrive then you may find that you unable to ride, as we may not have enough ponies since all sessions are pre-planned.
Please remember to sign in for the following session to avoid disapointment on the day! If you forget to sign up for the next session, as long as you contact the stables before 4PM the thursday of Pony Club, we may be able to provide you with a horse.
SESSIONS
Sessions will be a combination of riding and theory work. Children are split into your groups and work with there leaders. All theory work is based on the badges achievable and may include somethings to be studied at home. You will receive folders to keep all your written work in, so please bring these with you to every session.
